What is the Euro pallet size?
The Euro pallet is 1200×800 mm (80×120 cm). As the common standard of European logistics, trucks, containers and racking are planned around it. If you export to the EU, this is the first size to consider; details on our 80×120 composite pallet page.
What to consider when choosing a size
- Target market: 80×120 for the EU; 100×120 for UK/US; 114×114 is efficient for overseas containers.
- Load type: 110×110 for drums, 100×120 or 120×120 for big bags/octabins, 60×80 for retail display.
- Racking and door sizes: Your existing rack depth and door/lift widths can constrain the choice.
- Container stowage: How the size fits the container’s internal width (2.35 m) drives cost per pallet.
