Industries & Use Cases
We provide pallet solutions tailored to the unique needs of each industry.
In which industries are composite pallets used?
Thanks to hygiene, moisture resistance, light weight and ISPM-15 exemption, composite (pressed-wood) pallets are preferred across many industries — from food to pharma, automotive to export. Below we summarise each sector’s key pallet needs and the right solutions.
Food & Beverage
Hygienic, washable, odour-free composite pallets for food-safe handling and storage.
ViewPharma & Cosmetics
Low-particle, easy-to-clean pallet solutions for cleanrooms and controlled environments.
ViewChemicals
Composite pallets resistant to moisture, chemicals and temperature change — no rot or deformation.
Logistics & Warehousing
Reusable lightweight pallets compatible with racking and automation systems.
Export
Fast, hassle-free international shipping with composite export pallets — no ISPM-15.
E-commerce
Lightweight, economical pallets that withstand high-volume shipping cycles.
Agriculture
Long-lasting palletising solutions resistant to open-air and humid conditions.
Composite pallets in food & beverage
In food logistics the pallet directly affects product safety. The splinter-free, nail-free and non-absorbent surface of a composite pallet makes washing and cleaning easy and reduces the risk of mould and bacteria. The water absorption and splintering seen in classic wood does not occur with composite. See our composite pallet page for technical values and our pallet selection guide to pick the right type.
Composite pallets in export & logistics
When choosing an export pallet, ISPM-15 is the most critical issue. Thanks to the heat treatment in its production, a composite pallet is exempt from ISPM-15 — no fumigation, stamping or waiting time. Its light weight lowers freight, and nesting lowers empty-return cost. We cover this in detail in our ISPM-15 in Export article.
Composite pallets in pharma, chemicals & automotive
Pharma and chemicals require cleanable, low-particle pallets resistant to chemicals. In automotive and heavy-part handling, high load capacity and dimensional stability stand out. With its fixed size that does not swell with moisture, a composite pallet runs safely on automated lines. For a detailed comparison with wood and plastic, see our Why Composite Pallets? page.
