In food and beverage logistics the pallet directly affects product safety. As a food pallet, the composite (presswood) pallet is far more hygienic than wood thanks to its smooth, non-porous, non-absorbent surface. With no splinters or protruding nails, it does not damage product packaging.
Hygiene and food safety
A composite pallet does not absorb water or spilled product; it is easy to clean and reduces the risk of mould and bacteria. The moisture absorption, swelling and rot seen in classic wood do not occur. These properties also suit cold chain and humid environments.
ISPM-15 advantage in export
