60×80 cm composite pallet (600×800 mm) is a single-piece presswood (chipboard) pallet made by pressing recycled wood fibre under high heat and pressure. Half the Euro footprint, this size is widely used as a half (display) pallet for in-store display and e-commerce. Produced at our facility in Akyurt, Ankara; available as standard or made-to-order.
Where is the 60×80 half pallet used?
600×800 mm is exactly half the Euro pallet and the size of retail: in-store promotion islands, checkout displays and shelf replenishment run on this pallet. Product travels from warehouse to shop floor on the same pallet, cutting handling and restocking time.
At 7–9 kg it can be moved by two people without a pallet truck; it is also economical for small-volume e-commerce shipments.
Advantage over a wooden pallet
The 60×80 cm composite pallet weighs about 7–9 kg; noticeably lighter than a solid wooden pallet of the same size. This lowers freight cost, especially in air cargo. It does not absorb moisture, does not rot, has no splinters or nails, and is dimensionally stable.
ISPM-15 exemption in export
