80×120 cm composite pallet (1200×800 mm) is a single-piece presswood (chipboard) pallet made by pressing recycled wood fibre under high heat and pressure. This size is the most common Euro pallet standard in export and logistics. Produced at our facility in Akyurt, Ankara; available as standard or made-to-order.
Where is the 80×120 Euro pallet used?
1200×800 mm is the common language of European logistics: racking systems, narrow-aisle warehouses, truck and container load plans are all built around it. It is the default choice for companies exporting to the EU by road or container, and the most common size in retail and FMCG distribution chains.
The composite version, being lighter than the wooden Euro pallet, gives a freight advantage in one-way export; as it nests, it saves space in empty storage.
Advantage over a wooden pallet
The 80×120 cm composite pallet weighs about 14–17 kg; noticeably lighter than a solid wooden pallet of the same size. This lowers freight cost, especially in air cargo. It does not absorb moisture, does not rot, has no splinters or nails, and is dimensionally stable.
ISPM-15 exemption in export
Because it is a processed wood product, the 80×120 cm composite pallet needs no ISPM-15 heat treatment or fumigation for export. See our export pallet page for detail and our composite pallet page for all sizes.
