114×114 cm composite pallet (1140×1140 mm) is a single-piece presswood (chipboard) pallet made by pressing recycled wood fibre under high heat and pressure. Produced at our facility in Akyurt, Ankara; available as standard or made-to-order.
Why is the 114×114 pallet ideal for containers?
1140×1140 mm is a size designed around the sea container: two pallets side by side (2×1140 = 2280 mm) fill the standard container’s internal width with minimal void. This increases product per container and reduces load shift.
It is preferred in overseas export (US, Australia, Far East) and container-based project shipments.
Advantage over a wooden pallet
The 114×114 cm composite pallet weighs about 17–20 kg; noticeably lighter than a solid wooden pallet of the same size. This lowers freight cost, especially in air cargo. It does not absorb moisture, does not rot, has no splinters or nails, and is dimensionally stable.
ISPM-15 exemption in export
